…and we’re back!
Friends, Romans, countrymen…
It’s been a long time since we last had anything new for you as a band. We had a hell of a summer last year gigging around southern New England after releasing our debut EP, and even ending up with a show in NYC before returning home to hibernate for the winter….
…well, we don’t seem to be really having much of a winter, so maybe it’s time to come back out and play already…
2012 will, if nothing else, be a brand new year for Suspense Machine. At the end of 2011’s summer show spree, and after a lot of discussion, Rothel and Chris decided our gig in NYC would be our last show with them, and they will be moving on to pursue other projects. Rather than look to “replace” either of them, we’ve decided to stay as a duo, at least for the time being. This is a whole new format for both of us (totally still working out all the kinks), but it’s given us the opportunity to just tear everything down and start fresh and explore some new places, musically speaking. Expect lots of new sounds from us this year…
To kick off 2012 as a new year and rebirth for Suspense Machine, we are beyond excited to announce that we’re officially coming out of hibernation and will be performing at the PLOTT Artist’s Showcase at Peddler’s Loft in Raynham, MA on March 1, 2012!
PLOTT is a regular Thursday night performance event held by our good friends in Alongside a War, and we’re so happy to be playing with them our first night back on the stage! Special thanks to Ian for continually encouraging us to just play a damn show (finally!).
